This Privacy Policy explains how ANB Consulting and Marketing Inc., operating the Openpulse platform ("Openpulse," "ANB," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information. This Policy applies to the Openpulse website at openpulse.cloud, the Openpulse platform and related services.
1. Our Privacy Commitment
Openpulse is designed to help businesses identify commercial opportunities and market signals. Because the Service may process information originating from public and third-party sources, privacy and responsible data handling form an important part of how the Service operates.
We seek to collect and process information only for legitimate and appropriate business purposes and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
2. Information We May Collect
Account Information. We may collect information such as name, email address, company, job title, account credentials, account settings and communication preferences.
Billing and Transaction Information. When you purchase a subscription, payment providers may process your payment information. We may receive information such as billing name, billing address, subscription status, transaction amount, payment status and limited payment-method information. We generally do not need to store complete payment-card numbers.
Customer Configuration Information. We may process information you provide to configure monitoring, including keywords, topics, competitors, companies, locations, territories, industries, filters, monitoring preferences, alert preferences, notes and integration settings.
Technical and Usage Information. We may automatically collect IP address, browser information, device information, approximate geographic information derived from IP, authentication events, pages viewed, features used, timestamps, diagnostic information, system logs and security events.
3. Information Identified Through Openpulse
Openpulse may process information obtained from public, licensed, authorized, commercial, government or customer-connected sources. This information may include public posts, public comments, public reviews, business names, names of professionals acting in a business capacity, professional titles, business contact information, public profile information, public job postings, company announcements, news, procurement records, government records, tenders, permits, public filings, business events, source links and publication dates.
Some public-source information may constitute personal information under applicable law. Public accessibility does not necessarily remove all privacy protections.
4. Sources of Information
Information processed by Openpulse may originate from users, public websites, authorized APIs, government databases, licensed data providers, commercially available databases, search-indexed information, customer-authorized integrations, publicly accessible business or professional sources and other lawful sources.
We do not intend to circumvent passwords, authentication systems or access controls to obtain private information.
5. How We Use Information
We may use information to operate Openpulse; provide accounts; identify commercial signals; monitor customer-selected topics; detect opportunities; classify information; rank potential opportunities; generate alerts; create reports; summarize source material; identify duplicates; assess relevance; power search functionality; operate integrations and webhooks; process subscriptions; authenticate users; provide support; secure the Service; detect abuse; investigate technical issues; prevent fraud; understand Service usage; improve product functionality; comply with legal obligations; and establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
6. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Processing
Openpulse may use automated systems, machine learning or artificial intelligence to process information. Automated processing may be used to summarize content, determine relevance, categorize signals, estimate commercial intent, rank opportunities, identify potential purchasing needs, identify duplicates, connect related events and generate recommendations.
These systems may make mistakes. Openpulse is designed as a business-intelligence tool and should not be used as the sole basis for decisions producing significant legal or similarly consequential effects concerning individuals.
7. Customer Data
Customers may provide information to configure and use the Service. We use Customer Data as reasonably necessary to deliver the Service, execute customer instructions, provide support, secure the platform, maintain infrastructure, troubleshoot, prevent misuse and improve functionality.
We do not sell Customer Data as a standalone product.
8. Aggregated and De-Identified Data
We may aggregate or de-identify information so that it no longer reasonably identifies a particular customer or individual. We may use aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, product development, security, research, benchmarking, usage statistics and service improvement.
9. Service Providers
We may use service providers to operate Openpulse. These may include providers of cloud infrastructure, databases, artificial intelligence, authentication, cybersecurity, analytics, communications, customer support, payment processing, monitoring and software infrastructure.
These providers may process information on our behalf only as reasonably necessary to provide their services. Our technology providers may change as Openpulse evolves.
10. Integrations and Webhooks
When a customer enables an integration, API connection or webhook, information may be transmitted to the third-party destination selected by that customer. For example, a customer may configure Openpulse to send signals to a CRM, communication platform, automation system or internal application.
Customers are responsible for the systems and destinations they configure. Third-party platforms are subject to their own privacy policies.
11. Legal Disclosures
We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with law; respond to lawful legal process; enforce agreements; investigate fraud; address security incidents; protect Openpulse; protect customers; protect third parties; or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
12. Corporate Transactions
If ANB Consulting and Marketing Inc. is involved in a financing, merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets or similar business transaction, information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable legal requirements.
13. Selling Personal Information
Openpulse does not sell personal information for money as a standalone consumer-data brokerage service. If our practices materially change, this Privacy Policy will be updated and additional notices or choices will be provided where required.
14. Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for purposes such as providing the Service, maintaining customer accounts, fulfilling identified purposes, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, billing, record keeping, resolving disputes and enforcing agreements.
Retention periods vary depending upon the nature of the information. Information may be deleted, anonymized or aggregated when it is no longer reasonably required. Some records may be retained longer where required for legal, financial, security or evidentiary purposes.
15. Security
We use reasonable administrative, organizational and technical safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, unauthorized disclosure, loss, misuse, alteration and destruction. Security measures may include access controls, authentication, encryption in transit, security logging, infrastructure protection, monitoring, secure development practices and access restrictions.
No online system can guarantee absolute security.
16. International Processing
Openpulse and its service providers may process information in Canada, the United States or other jurisdictions. Information stored or processed outside your jurisdiction may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where it is processed.
Where appropriate, we use contractual, technical and organizational safeguards in connection with cross-border processing.
18. Marketing Communications
We may send customers account messages, security notices, billing notices, product communications and service announcements. We may also send promotional communications where permitted by law.
Marketing emails will provide an unsubscribe mechanism where required. Certain transactional or account-related communications cannot be opted out of while maintaining an active account.
19. Privacy Rights
Depending on where you are located and applicable law, you may have rights concerning personal information, including the ability to request access, request correction, challenge accuracy, withdraw consent where applicable, object to certain uses where applicable, request deletion where legally available and make a complaint regarding our privacy practices.
Some requests may be subject to legal exceptions. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
20. Information About Individuals Appearing in Openpulse
If information relating to you appears within Openpulse and you are not an Openpulse customer, you may contact us to ask about the information, request correction, raise a privacy concern, request review of its continued processing or exercise another right available under applicable law.
Contact support@openpulse.cloud and provide enough information for us to reasonably identify the relevant record or source. We may ask for additional information to verify identity and prevent fraudulent requests.
Where appropriate, we may correct information, remove information from our systems, suppress future display, update information or direct you to the original source. Whether a request can be fulfilled depends on applicable law, the nature of the information and our obligations concerning the underlying source.
21. Third-Party Websites
Openpulse may link to third-party websites or original source material. We do not control the privacy practices of those third parties. Visiting a third-party site is subject to that site's policies.
22. Children's Privacy
Openpulse is a business-oriented service and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly design the Service to solicit personal information from children.
23. Data Breaches
Openpulse maintains processes intended to identify, investigate and respond to security and privacy incidents. Where required by applicable law, we will make appropriate notifications to regulators, organizations or affected individuals.
24. Privacy Officer

25. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Openpulse evolves. The current version will display its effective or last-updated date. Where changes are material, we may provide notice through the Openpulse website, the Service, email or another reasonable method.
