Cookie Policy — Open Pulse

Which cookies Open Pulse sets, what each one is for, and how to refuse them, in full.

What this page answers

Who does this bind?

ANB Consulting and Marketing Inc., incorporated in Ontario, Canada, trading as Open Pulse.

When did it take effect?

September 16, 2026 (2026-09-16).

Is this the full text?

Yes. This is the same document as the human page, clause for clause, with nothing summarised or omitted. The numbering matches.

Introduction

This page lists every cookie Open Pulse sets, what each one is for, and how long it lasts. It is short because the list is short.

There is no advertising network here, no session recording, and no link to Google Ads. Nothing here builds a profile of you across other websites.

2. The cookies we set — Names in the first column are what you will see in your browser's storage inspector, so you can check this page against the thing it describes.

CookieSet byCategoryWhat it doesLasts
__sessionClerkEssentialCarries your signed-in session. Without it every page would ask you to sign in again.7 days
__client_uatClerkEssentialRecords when your session last changed, so the site knows whether to show you a sign-in link or a link to your dashboard before it has asked the server.7 days
__cf_bmCloudflareEssentialTells automated traffic from people. Set by our network provider in front of everything on this domain.30 minutes
cf_clearanceCloudflareEssentialRecords that a challenge was passed, so the Turnstile check on the contact form is not repeated on every attempt. Set only if a challenge runs.30 minutes
op_consentOpen PulseEssentialRemembers the choice you made on this page's banner. Holds the answer and a date, and nothing that identifies you.12 months
_gaGoogle AnalyticsAnalyticsTells a returning visitor from a new one, so a thousand visits from one person is not counted as a thousand people. A random number, not anything we know about you. Only set if you accept Analytics.2 years
_ga_G-VGGFX2R72EGoogle AnalyticsAnalyticsKeeps one visit together, so following three links reads as one session rather than three. The suffix is the identifier of this site's analytics property, not of you. Only set if you accept Analytics.2 years

4. Performance: error reporting

If you allow it, we run Sentry, which reports errors and slow requests from your browser to us. It sets no cookies. What it sends is the error, the page it happened on, and what kind of browser you were using.

It is off until you say otherwise, and turning it off later stops it on the next page you load. We deliberately do not send it your name, your email, or the contents of any request: that is configured in the code, not promised here.

5. Google Analytics, and why it is not optional

We use Google Analytics to count visits: which pages people arrive on, which links they follow, and whether the free report and the contact form actually work. It runs on every page, including the signed-in dashboard, and it is not behind the switch below. We would rather say that plainly than offer a control that does nothing.

What it is not told: the addresses of pages about your own data. A listener or an account page has an identifier in its URL, and those are replaced with a placeholder before anything is sent, along with the one-time links in free report and claim emails. It is never sent your name, your email, or anything a listener has collected.

There is no Google Ads link on this property and no advertising audiences are built from it. If that ever changes, this page changes with it.

6. Changing your mind

Open "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page. The panel shows what is currently on, and a change applies immediately.

We ask again after 12 months. Refusing everything optional is one button and is exactly as easy as accepting: there is no second screen, and the banner does not come back for the same question.

If you clear your cookies, you clear the record of your answer along with them, and you will be asked once more.

7. Questions

Write to support@openpulse.cloud. If you want the wider picture — what we collect, why, and how long we keep it — the privacy policy covers it.
